From alert to loaded truck.
When a renter stops paying, facilities can sell what is inside under their state's lien laws. Those sales are short, local and easy to miss. We bring them to you.

Before you bid
Are storage auctions legal?
Yes. When a renter stops paying, storage facilities can sell the contents to cover the debt under their state's lien laws, after giving the notices the law requires.
Can I look inside before I bid?
Usually only from the doorway on site, or through photos for online auctions. You normally cannot open boxes or step inside, which is part of the gamble.
What happens after I win?
You pay, put your own lock on the unit and clear it out within the facility's window, often 24 to 72 hours. Many facilities hold a cleaning deposit that you get back when the unit is left empty and clean.
What does it cost to join?
Nothing. Joining the alert list is free.
